VETERANS UPWARD BOUND   

Veterans Upward Bound – (VUB), located on the campus of Wichita State University is an educational and skills program designed specifically to serve the needs of today’s veterans.  VUB’s goal is to prepare veterans for a post-secondary education no matter which college, university, or vocational/technical school that they choose. We offer the following services: personal academic/career counseling, assessment of academic skills, academic refresher courses, computer training, financial aid counseling, tutoring, assistance with GI Bill application, and college readiness workshops.

Catholic Charities Supportive Services for Veteran Families provides homeless prevention and rapid rehousing services to very low income veterans and their families. The main purpose of the program is to assist veterans with stabilizing quickly into permanent housing and to connect them with community resources needed to maintain housing.

184th AIRMAN & FAMILY READINESS PROGRAM

The 184th Airman & Family Readiness Program Office provides assistance to Wing leadership, Service members, and their families at the local Wing and Geographically Separated Units. The program serves all branches of service including active duty, guard and reservists to address family issues and trends which impact mission readiness and retention.
